It's best to just ignore them.. I had my fair share of situations where people are just complicated..what I did was just ignore them until they realised what they had done.. I had one situation where someone lied about me.. and that person spread rumor about me talking about her dead mom and it became a huge issue.. I heard it's cause she was jealous I had a higher ranking position in my school being a senior prefect is a big deal...I apologised over and over again i even if I did nothing.. yet she just loved lying to people saying I was talking shit about her.. I chose to ignore the people who sided with her and stayed quiet..
